Now for a local, small business and community centric alternative to the Seattle 2010 Go Green Conference. Seattle’s Eco-Chic Expo is being held on Saturday, May 1st, at the Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center located in Northeast Seattle. A self described “interactive green lifestyle event”, the event is put together to provide the general public with an interactive day of tips, tricks and products to help people live greener, yet fashionable, lives. The Expo is free to the public and features a number of local companies dedicated to sustainable lifestyles.
[ad name=”Go-RT-Large Square”]Exhibitors vary across a number of different categories from design, home, beauty, and food. Contributors include Nest, home decoration and design, A Greener Kitchen, environmentally friendly kitchen tools, gadgets, and accessories, Treadlight’s eco-friendly selection of gifts, Sweet Beauty, organic chocolate based spa treatments, Think Now Designs, sustainable and fashionable jewelry, and many others. In a similar vein as EcoEtsy‘s movement toward the promotion of fashionable and sustainable products, The Eco-Chic Expo is a great opportunity to learn about new green-living products on a local level. Even better, it’s a chance to meet and interact with people within your own community who are dedicated to the values of living an eco-chic lifestyle. And at such a small scale location as the Ravenna Community Center, you’re unlikely to get lost in the crowd or overwhelmed.Event Details
